Friday, December 11, 2015 - HDH auction tasting at Tru; 12/10/2015-12/12/2015 (Chicago, IL): Brilliant syrah. Aromatic, with lots of black fruit and just a faint bit of charred meat and olives. The palate shows a charcuterie plate much more clearly, although the sweet red berries are still very prominent. The density and fruitiness on this are amazing, and based on all the stuffing that this has, I wouldn't be concerned about letting these sleep more.
