Wednesday, February 28, 2018 - This is a fantastic bottle of wine. It is fine yet complex and powerful. There are notes of rockmelon, white peach, aniseed and toast. It is full and rich with a suggestion of honey and truffle just sneaking into the flavour profile. It has greet posture and the finish oozes minerality.

3/1/2018 6:23:00 AM - Hi Jeremy: Thanks for your latest tasting note - it looks like you been fortunate to own multiple bottles of the 1985 Bonneau du Martray given the previous notes you have posted. The Corton-Charlamagne is underrated and their wines were among my earliest White Burgundy experiences. I've had both the '83 and '86 (tasted in the mid-'90s) which were both excellent, though the two vintages were extremely dissimilar. I'm really looking forward to trying the '85 which is a superior overall White Burgundy vintage compared to '83 and '86 IMO. Best, FM
