90 Points

Saturday, April 12, 2014 - Deep, opaque red. Brambly fruits, earth, and hillside herbs. There is an underlying minerality and structure, forming a firm backbone. This punches way above its weight class, and if you drank this as an everyday red, you'd be doing better than most. Fantastic QPR at $18.

Incidentally, this wine bears the name of a beautiful village in Provence. I was lucky to overnight there at the Hostellerie le Beffroi, and I remember fondly roaming its Romanesque streets and passages. Idyllic to the extreme.
