Tuesday, May 25, 2010 - Decanted first for a few hours. Color was lighter, not dark. This Zin had a rather different nose in the sense it was more red fruit than dark. Red Cherries, strawberry. Palate was bright and somewhat spicy. It came on as rather hot but I think it was more of the spiciness I was experiencing. Long finish. Not at all what I would have expected. I liked it and would buy this one again. Great wine for $16.
