Wednesday, January 19, 2022 - Crystal light gold color. The characteristic riesling heavy ester note is there, but on top sits tons of ripe fruit, bits of lychee, stone fruit, citrus. The palate gives me goosebumps — so fresh, balanced, tense. Long finish, refreshing, not cloying in the slightest. Has some similarities to Ygrec d’Yquem, though this is so much lighter and sprightly. And it’s lovely for it and I’d take it over Ygrec any day.
