Thursday, September 19, 2013 - Store Tasting (Roseville, MN): Amazing QPR -- drank this price blind.
Dark purple in color, with a somewhat odd and unique aroma exhibiting green pepper and spice.
A little too tannic at the moment, I'd give this one a year or two before drinking by itself. Drink 2015-2018. However, this would make an excellent food wine, and my ideal pairing would be BBQ ribs.
