Tuesday, July 21, 2015 - (at - Le Villaret - Paris) A marvelous wine drunk at my favorite restaurant for wine in Paris. Very light color is followed by a captivating nose of clean Chardonnay fruit, some white flowers and a boatload of crushed stones. The nose grows with complexity with air. Though young, the palate has both depth and refreshing qualities. Has a bit more oak than expected but this takes nothing away from the wine. Will gain more depth with age though I don't have an issue drinking it now. Finish is very long. This is a great wine of purity. (93)
