Was expecting a fading tertiary wine on the descent. Not at all. While clearly middle-bodied this is on its plateau. No urgency of drinking. Nose-wise got the better of a PLL 96 while the showing more complete than a Rausan Segla from the same vintage. Oozes class, contained class.
