Saturday, February 24, 2024 - I haven't tasted a Burgundy like this before. The 2012 Burgundy comes from a cool vintage, yet it emits the aroma of ripe fruits, along with intense spice notes, and even hints of spiciness.
Upon opening, it exhibits high acidity and feels a bit subdued. Gradually, it reveals refined spice flavors with a certain complexity that makes me forget the original taste of Clos Vougeot.
