Sunday, January 22, 2006 - Initial thought was that the wine simply endured but not necessarily got any better. After ~1 hr in glass, it became much more aromatic. Tawny por in color. Baked sour cherries some funky fungal notes. Earthy, some compost, bright acidic baked cherries in the mouth. Not a wine made to last this long, but definitely interesting.
