Friday, March 14, 2014 - Lovely transparent color does not give a hint to the heavy handed fruit of the negroamora grape. I was not familiar with this Puglia style, but I am quickly becoming a fan. Received through the WSJ site at a great price. Definitely looking forward to the next bottle.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like violet. It tastes like black currant (cassis). The body is light/medium. The wine has juicy texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.
