Wednesday, March 11, 2015 - hadn't tried this in a couple years. the oak was a problem before, but it seemed to be far more integrated now. the rusticity of the plot was showing itself with some nice meaty, earthy notes really coming through. once the guigal oak treatments wears off, the beauty of the terroir (Vallouit Les Greffieres vines, i believe) really shines.
