-nearly translucent light red nearing rose territory
-moderately aromatic tart cherry and delicate spiciness
-higher acidity makes it very brisk but not quite shrill, lighter weight with med concentration, tart crunchy red cherry dominant mid-palate and stony minerally med/med+ tannins on the ever so slightly rustic finish, OK complexity
-this is really quite pretty right now, especially if matched with foods that will complement the acidity, not likely to improve much with age but certainly seems to have enough structure to drink well for another 5+ years
