Somehow came across as overly incisive without any fruit expression. Perhaps a phase but as I've not tried his wines before perhaps just an overly lean style that I do not find to my liking. Still, it was by no means bad and I appreciated what fruit there was and the winemaking...just seemed a little too tilted towards the laserlike cut approach to Chardonnay than the more opulent and rich styles I tend to prefer.
