Tuesday, September 9, 2014 - Since I first tasted this a year ago, this wine has really come into its own. Whereas before it was steely and reticent at first, it now shows well on opening, and only improves with air time.
Straw, apple, melon and a hint of oak accent the mineral-heavy aromas. It has an ample acid backbone which supports the tart stone fruit, limestone, and chalky flavors which practically beg for food. A very nice effort from a fairly new producer. You know the saying..."Should've bought more!"
