Saturday, February 18, 2017 - Solid Pinot with an Old World elegance. Well priced in North America (not so much in Europe), it shows ripe red berries and a rather generic sous bouis quality. No sense of place or character here, but the potential of the varietal is shown nicely. Nothing jammy or over the top. Acidity is adequate, if impish, and tannins are fading and powdery. One to drink now.
