Monday, January 4, 2016 - Quite opaque deep cherry red in the glass. Extracted and ripe, bordering on raisiny. A bit hot on the nose and palate. A full throttle mouthful that would appeal to those seeking this style. Not a surprise, with Robert Parker as part owner of this winery, and the early 2000s still under the spell of his influence. I'm hopeful that the pendulum of Oregon Pinot continues to swing away from this style. Not my cup of tea.

This particular bottle presents younger than stated age - I'm guessing a few years to go before declining.
