Friday, July 11, 2014 - This is round and full. In a blind tasting head to head with bottles from France, it was clear that this was the domestic Pinot. Yet, at the end of the night, after bottles had been opened for two+ hours, this was the bottle that was expressing the most – complex bouquet of bacon fat and lavender over a base of stewed red fruit. This is a testament to the terroir of Ribbon Ridge and the integrity of the wine makers. Fabulous wine.
