Monday, April 23, 2018 - The bottle’s fill level was very high shoulder and after removing the capsule there were signs of very slight seepage. The wine was decanted and had very little sediment, a dark purple color, and great clarity.
The nose offered aromas of mesquite, leather, and black and blue fruits. The tannins were fully resolved and the wine still had very pleasant acidity. All involved thought it showed very well and ten years younger then it is.
