Deep ruby with a bit of haze and the slightest bit of bricking and the edge. A very savory and herbaceous nose with a green top note supported by charred dark fruits and oak. Integrated, but still present tannins. A whisper thin on entry, but nice grip on the finish. The acid is present, but in great balance with the tannins and flavors. The palate follows the nose pretty closely with the charred elements continuing. A lively, completely intact, savory driven Cali Cab. Really delicious stuff.

This wine was so fresh. The color was bright yellow with only hints of gold. The nose was complex, deep and shifting. All the elements were in place with nothing overwhelming its friends. Yogurt, lemon, apple, lychee, almond, delicatly grilled sage and white peach played off of each other effortlessly. The palate had nice acidity that balanced the undeniable yet poised richness that is Beringer PR Chardonnay. The finish is long, mouth watering, and simply delicious.
