Friday, November 4, 2016 - Wine from a cool site, in a very cool vintage- things that could detract from a good merlot. Despite the challenges, this is a very good merlot. Had with a pork tenderloin with plum sauce, and the Arietta was a great counterpoint. Balanced enough to let the sweetness of the plum sauce sing through, and play a solid complementary role.
