Tuesday, May 6, 2014 - Spice box and violets on the nose, muted red fruit on the palate, rhubarb and raspberry, plenty of acid, light bodied, short finish with some grippy tannins I wasn't expecting; not hot in a very ripe year, tastes a little watered down in fact. Opened up a bit by the cheese course but I think it may need time in bottle to show whatever it has.
