Saturday, October 5, 2019 - Medium-light ruby. Nose of red fruit, earthy aromas, modest complexity. Stays relatively harmless, simple, primary on the palate. The producer is well regarded and Rugiens is a top site, may be it is too young, may be it is the sub-par vintage. Anyway, only table wine quality for this showing.
