Friday, October 16, 2020 - This had a wonderful floral nose of cherries and crushed red fruit. Cherries and raspberries on entry, transitioning to notes of light mushroom and flowers and herbs. Nice acid sugar balance, and the tannins seemed well integrated. I’m curious where this will go in the next 5 years, and if time will tame the floral notes exploding out of the glass. Not that they need to be tamed. In any event, a wonderful and elegant wine and a good example of what Oregon Pinot can be.
