Thursday, January 3, 2019 - Popped, poured and consumed over the course of three hours. Youthful appearance, with no bricking. Surprisingly classic bouquet considering the vintage, with an extroverted character, offering up scents of cassis, blackberry, minerals + crushed stones, with hints of sous bois and dried black currant. Medium bodied, surprisingly silky, with ripe tannins, great depth, and good delineation on the long finish. Impressive!
