So I was skeptical. However, this is actually still very good. Color and nose were correct and perfect. There was maybe a hint of butterscotch in that first taste, but I can almost always smell the slightest bit of oxidation so I really tried to puzzle it out for this wine. After the initial sip I didn't notice it again. Maybe it was confirmation bias or something. In any case, this still has very high acidity with a light and correct palate. Pleasantly surprised.
