Sunday, November 14, 2021 - Deep inky ruby hue with some modest development showing. Intense nose - meaty and earthy with some pepper. Blueberry and blackberry liqueur with a whiff of liquorice.

A full bodied palate with unctuous mouthfeel. Good complexity and balance.

This is a very nice alternative to the Australian Syrah / Shiraz and blends that I drink more often. Much more savoury style. If I'm nitpicking I'd prefer a little bit more fruit to show but that's a minor point. Excellent.
