Thursday, July 2, 2015 - Pleasant, somewhat monolithic Malbec in a modern style. Nose of dark fruits, cocoa, coffee, a hint of soy; on the palate the wine is dense and extracted, but has enough acidity not to be overly cloying. Still some moderately significant tannins, which make me think a few more years of cellar time might do this wine good and allow some secondary aromas and flavors to emerge.
