Thursday, September 24, 2020 - This was wonderful paired with duck. Fragrant with ripe cherries, a bit of salinity, herbs de provence, and some forestry mustiness towards the back end. Seems to be drinking very well right now, with all components in balance. Sometimes the food pairing makes a wine sing. And you end up with a higher score than you might have given the wine on another occasion. Oh well, it’s just the internet. Nobody believes stuff on there anyway.
