1.5L, purchased from the winery and cellared since 10/2013, this bottle was quite jammy, with loads of plum, cranberry, dark cherry, hints of truffles, very smooth long finish. This well stored bottle could easily last another five plus years and perhaps even improve a bit.

This was wonderful paired with duck. Fragrant with ripe cherries, a bit of salinity, herbs de provence, and some forestry mustiness towards the back end. Seems to be drinking very well right now, with all components in balance. Sometimes the food pairing makes a wine sing. And you end up with a higher score than you might have given the wine on another occasion. Oh well, it’s just the internet. Nobody believes stuff on there anyway.

I liked this wine tonight: It has a very fragrant nose, good body, excellent balance and tension that keeps it interesting and makes you want to take the next sip. And in no danger of falling apart soon....A joy to savor and drink.

Beautiful ripe cherries and spice on the nose. Palate doubles down on the cherries while bringing in smoke, incense, and some finely powdered dry earth. Acidity is medium [+] and tannins are medium[-]. Texture is getting to that amazing velvet that a good Pinot can. Smoky, redolent finish goes on forever.

Medium-Light ruby color, mild aromas of cedar box and spice. PAP, the flavors are lighter taking on red cherry and strawberry with English tea on the finish. After an hour in a decanter the flavors darken into black cherry and black raspberry, with more pronounced English tea and hint of dark baking chocolate. Either way it's very smooth and delicious to drink! Perfect now, no rough edges, drink now to +2 years.

Part of the 10 deep Oregon/Willamette Valley PN line-up tasted at my house yesterday. Nose similar to the Ayoub wines: Earthy and rustic, with some fragrance and sweetness. On the palate it does not show a lot of depth but has some attraction. Showed less well than 3 years ago when it was tasted agains the 2013 and 14 vintages of the same vineyard..

Willamette Immersion Seminar - Nicely aged wines - short notes (Allison Inn, Newberg Oregon): Vibrant ruby/purple tinged color. Distinctive nose of raspberry, perfumed potpourri, eastern spice (maybe?). Bright red fruits on the palate, black raspberry, cherry cola (classic), rose pastille/violets. Medium weight long finish. Wine is really showing well right now - had been open about 90 minutes by the time we drank it...excellent

Tasting absolutely wonderful. Very well balanced with lovely notes of cherry. Very slight forest floor. Long nice finish. Probably at its peak but will try again in a year.

So great in the glass and even better on night #2. Vibrant, bright red berry and mouth watering quality of fruit laced with mineral and salinity. It is not terribly complex at this point and it has a firm structure to it suggesting it can age a while longer.

Soft smell, a bit of a medicinal bouquet; the most structured of the 3 vintages tasted. (2014/13/12) but essentially the wine is quite round and delicate.

4 High-toned red fruit with spice galore. A hint of toasted almonds in the background. The mid-weight, silky body seduces and keeps you swirling, smelling, swooning. Excellent.

A beautiful wine. Shy nose with baking spices, hot mineral rocks, and light cherry fruit. Palate is just beautiful with candied cherries, sweet caramel, baking spices, and both soft fine tannins and soft-but-attention-grabbing acidity. These factors balance the wine out really nicely. Beautiful wine.

Day 1: big, intense, complex muscular Oregon PN...very enjoyable. Overnight transformation! Day 2: soft, elegant Oregon PN at its best...also very much enjoyed. Glad to have more

Pretty ruby. Rich with a touch of sweetness showing ripe cherry, Dr. Pepper, blueberry, and dark fruits. Full bodied, probably long lived, and probably set to improve over the next 3-5 years in the bottle.

Tasted at the Bergstrom wine dinner at Aggio's in Washington DC on 04/03/2014; drank alongside the Pre du Col of the same vintage. Very restrained nose at first, some sweetness but not of the obtrusive kind, rather that of a delicate flower. Wonderful perfume, really. On palate elegant, with good minerality/acidity causing a "tingle"; vibrant, elegant and more classic to me than the Col du Pre wine. I have high hopes for this wine over the next few years.

Oregon 2012 at the office: Dark fruited pinot fruit with a faint cola note and it finishes with a fresh bite. Good now although still a bit young.

Expected more out of this. Was very heavy and plodding, almost like an Aubert pinot. Thought it would be a bit defter. Flavors were nice, but too big.
