Monday, December 11, 2023 - Of all the wines I decided to pull for a trip to a South Texas Ranch this was one of them. Open season amongst drilling derricks... not what I grew up around in Wyoming but still quality time with friends. More beer consumed than wine.

Wouldn't have guessed Amarone blind. Italian, yes. Maybe Tuscany due to the amount of oak influence. Still plenty of life left in this bottle. Drink now or hold.

Consider this contemporary Amarone.
