Wednesday, April 12, 2017 - Here I am 2 years later. Decanted 1 hr. ahead off of some sediment. Ultra-deep garnet color with no bricking. Very nice nose of cedar, blackberry and Amador Spice. Full-bodied and smoothish on the palate as bottle age has done its work. It's integrated and deep. The finish is long and drying, with more red-fruit and still some light tannins. You don't know what grapes you are drinking, which goes somewhat against the grain here in CA, but hey, you can't quarrel with what's in the glass which is good. It tightened up later when the Petite Sirah kicked in some more, but this means that waiting even longer will likely be rewarded.
