Sunday, July 5, 2015 - The evolution of this wine is very close to what I predicted upon release. It was a kind of kinky modern wine without layered fruits. Intensity without much nuance and very much red fruit driven nose with very strong presence of oak. Not much has changed. The fruit is still predominantly red albeit more prune than earlier, also a bit of exotic space albeit not as noticeable. The new oak cedar note is still quite noticeable. All the components have come together but still remain a bit monolithic. Not sure if there is much room to improve.
