Tuesday, June 30, 2015 - Appearance: Clear wine with a medium ruby colour, bordering on deep.

Nose: Clean nose with a medium intensity. This wine has really just started development and could still be considered youthful.

Quite a simple nose of fresh black fruit, cedarwood and herbaceous notes - capsicum is particularly pronounced here.

Palate:
Alcoholic: Medium+
Tannins: Medium
Acidity: Medium
Body: Medium
Intensity: Medium+
Finish: Medium+

Also quite simple but fresh on the palate - under-ripe red cherries, blackberries and green bell pepper combine to create a typical Cabernet Sauvignon profile. Some notes of Anis but generally a youthful wine.

Good Quality Californian Cabernet Sauvignon. Can drink now but developing and should drink well for 5-10 more years at least. Could potentially open into something quite interesting.
