Sunday, April 7, 2024 - Saturated black cherry on the nose along with blackberry, black currant, dried sage, licorice, and black pepper. Medium bodied and a smooth-ish mouthfeel with modest acid and a modest amount of fine grained tannin. It's pleasant enough but watery and a bit thin in the mid palate. Flavors include a briar patch of berries, tar, licorice, dried sage, green bell pepper, and black pepper. It's all fine and dandy, but lacks personality and any amount of special pop. The longer this sits out, the more watery it gets. Don't age any longer.
