Saturday, March 19, 2022 - How do the Marchives make such good juice for such a great price? Hands down my favorite chablis producer - the nicest people making really good, classic wines. Nose powerful iodine, oyster shell, lemon, hints of apple cider, hints of floral. palate with great acidity, hints of partial malolactic, intense mineral, suggestive of some lees aging, long mineral driven finish. This is a near great Chablis - hitting well above both price and really the premier cru designation.
