Sunday, January 18, 2009 - Probably one of the best Bordeaux`s I have tasted. Lynch-Bages 88 is at a perfect state. Full bodied, lovely red fruit, complex aromas of leather, earth, licorice, berries, perfectly integrated french oak and smooth tannins. It just lingers, and lingers. and lingers. This is why these wines are among the most expensive in the world. And this is "only" Cinquièmes Crus (Fifth Growth). Wow.
