And subsequently it got better and better and today I think it is one of those wines that has achieved its own perfection. Deep and dark, with such soothing, smooth, flavors and mouth feel. Dark black and blue fruit, medium acidity, receding tannin but enough to pull along a 30-second finish. I described it, for what it is, as near perfection. This was my last one but it’s enough to make me search it out to buy again - obviously at WAY more than I paid for it originally in 2012.
