Saturday, December 18, 2021 - This bottle opened with a deep green gold colour and a nose of honeysuckle, lemon butter, grapefruit and pear lifted by a touch of honey. The palate is quite rich and round with quite delicious fruit characters reflecting the nose and just enough balancing acidity and mineral characters to provide the necessary structure to provide length and refreshment. This is an interesting and unusual food wine to turn to when Chardonnay has lost its appeal !
