Monday, June 15, 2015 - PopnPour, tasted over 3 hrs and day 2
-nearly opaque dark red very faint purple near rim
-slightly creamy dusty soft cherry fruit and earth
-barely med acidity, lighter weight but moderately sappy earthy red cherry mid-palate with fleeting medicinal note and abundant chalky tannins, opens up considerably after 2 hrs; similar on Day 2
-good for the appellation, should be better in 3-5 years

General Note: so far lower end 2012 red Burgs seem to be a hypothetical mix of 2009 soft ripe fruit but more in the red spectrum and 2010 intensity though less minerality and clarity
