90 Points

Wednesday, February 25, 2015 - This is another burgundy that is really sensitive to the amount of air, temperature and other factors. The first few glasses off of Coravin did not impress, however, when I popped the rest of the bottle it showed really well with a few hours of air.

Nose: Red Plum, Black Cherry, Tart Blackberry, Palate: Excellent black/red fruit with mineral and ample chalky tanin. Suave on the nose with a red plum, cherry and violet notes. Finish: Great finish that just falls off a bit, and shows somewhat aggressive tanin at the moment.

Good wine that just needs some time. Be sure to decant and get up from cellar temperature before serving.
