Saturday, March 7, 2015 - Ultimo lunch time tasting (Ultimo wine centre (but now vintage cellars)): Perfumed blackberry and black pepper with slight cream on the nose. The wine is juicy on the palate with flavours of black berry and black pepper and fine tannins. The wine is quite pleasant but it finishes rather unpleasantly - an almost sour milk/off flavour that is at odds with what has gone before.
