Tuesday, October 29, 2019 - First taste from Coravin; light/med ruby with a little fade at the rim; certainly an exotic character to the nose, spice, red fruits, a little clove from the oak perhaps? On the palate, this is reasonably grippy and the alcohol sticks out somewhat. Flavours fall a bit flat. Takes a lot if swirling around the mouth to coax them out. All over the place right now, hopefully an awkward adolescence!
