Wednesday, September 1, 2021 - Bottle 259/506. Less in the zone than a recent 08 of this wine. The quality however undoubted and with more potential. Suchots is sort of a half way house in my mind between his Colombiere and Reignots in intensity. It’s got superb mineralite. Drop dead gorgeous cherry fruit, sexy! At times with air hints of umami which I usually only get in his Reignots and Romanee. 94++
