Saturday, August 13, 2016 - The nose was earthy and rich, with dark soil and floral undergrowth turning to plum and crushed cherry. On the palate, I found soft textures giving way to ripe, fleshy black cherry, inner floral tones and earth. As the Les Damodes moved across the palate, it firmed up, adding a sense of refinement, and finished long, with palate-coating dark fruit, soil tones, and minerality.
