Sunday, June 19, 2022 - Popped and poured, then refrigerated the remaining part of the bottle for the following day. This is a translucent ruby wine with essentially no sediment. On the very pretty nose, I get damp earth and leaves, a mixture of wild red berries, cherry sauce, and cranberries. The bouquet is marked by a wonderfully focused yet changing display of impressions. In the mouth, this is a crisp wine characterized by an earthy-spicy mix with underlying medium red fruits. The finish is chewy, with good length and some spice inflection resurfacing. Overall, I found this very enjoyable. It’s probably on the young side, but is a quality NSG that should continue to show well. 92 points.
