Wednesday, November 25, 2015 - Depth of tingly red and dark fruit on the nose with dark earthiness underneath. Spice, sweet and savory, on the palate is perhaps not quite as well defined as in the best bottles but this was very good. High energy, young sweet fruit, but the poise and maturity of a 40 year old wine. 45 minute decant, consumed over two hours but the wine was still on an upswing.
