Sunday, December 13, 2020 - dark crimson. Deep dark berry fruit like brambles and cassis. The nature of the amphora is clearly present on the nose. Almost Confit and liqoureux in the fruit. Umami richness and leather / tabacco. Good and uplifting freshness in midpalate. Something steely on the wine. Not as vivid and fresh as it first seems. But a very good bargain and a great wine for game and winter meat dishes
