Tasted December 4, 2006 at home. Opened and decanted about 30 minutes before serving in a Spiegelau Authentis Magnum glass. Dark garnet color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Tight nose of blackberries, boysenberries, raspberries and maybe a little brown sugar/cinnamon toast at the finish. Flavors of red berries, red cherries, tangy raspberries and maybe some cocoa powder. Light acidity, medium tannins. Seems bit “flat” on the palate early on. Drink over the next 2-3 years. PURPLE noted it seemed a little hot as well. NOTE: PURPLE tasted this wine double blind and guessed it is Spanish.
