Saturday, October 22, 2005 - Normally, I buy beaujolais if cooking with red wine, and I did sacrifice 8 oz. or so of this stuff into the pot roast, but I bought it because it had some nice reviews and I'm willing to try any wine with good reviews priced less than $15. Although not a huge gamay fan, this was quite good. Bright, vibrant fruit, and nice balance. Not a lot of complexity, but it did finish nicely. It merits buying a couple more bottles at that price.
